No Personal Data Collected
LinkedIn Surf is designed to assist you in filtering and exporting job listings from LinkedIn. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or personally identifiable information (PII) from you.
Local Data Storage
Any data stored by the Extension (such as user preferences or temporary job listing data) is saved locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage.
This data is used solely to improve your experience while using the Extension and is not sent to any external servers.
2. How We Use Data
Local Processing Only
All job listing data is gathered from your active LinkedIn session. This data is processed locally in your browser to filter and export job listings.
No job or personal data is transmitted to any third-party servers or used for any other purpose than to provide the Extension's intended functionality.
OAuth2 for Google Sheets Integration
The Extension uses OAuth2 authentication to interact with the Google Sheets API for exporting job results.
The OAuth2 tokens are used only to enable the export functionality, and any data shared with Google is solely that which you choose to export.
We do not save or store your Google account information beyond what is required for authorization during the export process.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share any of your data.
The Extension does not send any personal or job-related data to our servers or any other external parties.
Third-Party Services
The only third-party service integrated with the Extension is Google Sheets, through its API.
Any data access by Google Sheets is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more details.
4. Security
Local-Only Data Processing
All data processing is performed locally within your browser environment.
We use Chrome's secure storage and adhere to best practices for local data management.
As no data is transmitted or stored externally, there is minimal risk of data exposure from our side.

No Data, No Concerns
Since no personal data is collected or stored by the Extension, there are no privacy settings or opt-out choices required for our service.
You can uninstall the Extension at any time. This will remove any locally stored data associated with the Extension from your browser.
